Spring Family Photos

Spring family photo season has started in Chicago! The Chicago winter is definitely over. Everyone is talking about spring and the beauty that surrounds this season. Spring is a beautiful season for family photos! Imagine the picturesque background of blossoms blooming, the fresh green tree leaves and the colorful spring flowers.

So if you are here, chances are you are looking to get spring photos for your family too! In this blog you’ll find ideas, information, and inspiration for your Spring Family Photo Session. If you want to know more about my work as a family photographer in Chicago, take a look at my portfolio!

Spring Family Photo Outfit Ideas

Elevate your spring family photos with gorgeous spring outfits! You can leave winter jackets at home and wear happy colors, floral patterns, pastel beauties, or earthy neutrals. Spring family photo outfits start with a color palette. Once you’ve chosen the palette, it’s easy to mix and match outfits for your family. Compliment outfits by choosing colors from the same color scheme. Matching outfits can look a little dated — complementing outfits look harmonious and pretty.

Floral patterns are gorgeous for a spring family photo session but stay away from too many busy patterns in your family’s outfits. Even though outfits take your photos to a next level, we still want most attention to be drawn into the beautiful interaction happening in the image.

But how to choose the best photographer in Chicago for your family?

Pay attention to these things to make your first selection:

The photographer’s style
Does the family photographer’s style appeal to you? Do you like what you see? Does the photographer’s style reflect the style you aim for your family photos?

Communication
For an easy and relaxed family photo session and for amazing results, communication is key.

It should be easy to get information from your photographer about your photo session. And it should be easy to get your photo session booked.

The photographer should be interested in you and your family, your ideas about the photo session and other details that are important to you.

Pricing
We might not like to say it out loud, but pricing is important when you are looking for a family photographer near you. First of all, a good photographer is always worth every penny! But look into what you get for your money versus what you need. If you don’t need 80 photos out of your family photo session, try to find a photographer with different packages.
