Take me to your favorite spots, the places where you love to hang out together and we’ll go on a memorable date! Instead of capturing all posed photos, we’ll capture real life. Filled with true love! The photos from your couples lifestyle photo session are going to show you two as couple, just the way you are. A genuine documentary, lifestyle photography with photos you will keep looking at over and over again.
We’ll spend 1.5 to 2 hours together in Chicago, going from place to place (within a reasonable walking distance). And we’re going to have a good time.
Let’s not call it a photo session, let’s call it a date!
From romantic and intimate poses to fun and candid shots, a lifestyle couples or engagement photo session offers endless possibilities for capturing the love and chemistry between you two. It’s a chance to not only document a moment in time, but also to tell a story and showcase your journey together as a couple.

Here are 4 reasons to book a couples Lifestyle Photo Session:
1 It’s comfortable
The best photos come from you feeling comfortable and confident. Being in a space you’re accustomed with (you choose the location) gives you the freedom to let loose in ways you might not in a traditional photo session. Posing can feel a bit awkward, whereas lifestyle photography is mostly about action. ‘Just do what you normally would do in this situation.’ Don’t mind the photographer.
Okay, I admit, that’s easier said than done. Everyone who is in a photo session
will never “not-mind” the photographer. So even though it’s all about natural action,
I will gently guide you into the action or help you go from one thing to another.
Before you know it you’re in a flow and you will for real forget that I’m there for a moment.
2 It’s creative
Incorporating your favorite activities into your photo session makes your couples or engagement photo session so much more special. We’ll capture your relationship in its natural element. Photos will be more creative and genuine than posed photos in a certain location.
3 It’s Unique
Your photos are unique. There’s literally no other couple who’ll have the same kind of photos as you do. Because you choose just the location and/or activity that is typically you, it’s most likely no-one else’s. Or at least not the way it’s yours. Maybe you like to go to the theaters and go for ice cream first, or after. Or you love to stroll through the city and end up in that favorite bar or coffee place of yours.
4 You can stay at home
You can even choose to have a photo session at home if your favorite way to spend your day off is being at home. Cooking your favorite meal, going for a walk with your dog and hang out at home afterwards. You like to set up a barbeque together in summertime or you hang out at the pool? I can go on and on with suggestions, but you know best what you guys like to do!
Everything is okay. Nothing is too little, (almost) nothing is too crazy.
Except… hmm I must say I am not good on boats or helicopters because of motion sickness. But anything besides that, bring it on!
