North Avenue Beach – Chicago
There are many great locations in the city of Chicago for family photo sessions which is a big plus for any photographer! A few spots are by far the most popular. The stunning backdrop at North Avenue beach is one of them. The skyline works great for family photo sessions, couples/engagement shoots, friends (besties forever) photo shoots and let’s not forget the weddings!
Even though there’s rarely a quiet moment at a stunning location like this one, it’s never a problem to shoot photos like nobody else was there!
When to go?
Early morning is always a good time to go out for a photo session in Chicago because the soft sunlight creates beautiful pastel colors. For a girls-friend’s-only photo session, a romantic couples photo shoot or sweet family captures. The brighter sunlight later in the morning is perfect for colorful, happy and active photos.
I try to avoid the harsh sunlight in the middle of the day, therefore I recommand scheduling your photo session before noon or after 3PM.
Winter, spring, summer or fall, all you have to do… you probably know the line!
